Over 2 Million for Mbabane Social Centres Sponsored by eBet

Mbabane, Eswatini – In a significant boost to community welfare, eBet has pledged a sponsorship exceeding 2 million Eswatini Emalangeni for social centres across Mbabane. The sponsorship, valued at E60,000 monthly for the next three years, is set to benefit six social centres in the city, promising improved support and services for vulnerable communities.
The launch of this transformative initiative took place this morning at Nkwalini Social Centre. The event was marked by the presence of the Honourable Minister of Housing & Urban Development, who was represented by the Honourable Minister of Tourism & Environmental Affairs, Jane Mkhonta. Their participation underscored the government’s strong commitment to supporting community welfare programs.
Currently, the city’s nine social centres provide two nutritious meals daily to approximately 1,300 children. This new sponsorship is expected to further enhance these efforts, ensuring that more children and families receive consistent support in meeting their daily nutritional and social needs.
In addition to the financial commitment, eBet extended its generosity by donating school shoes, uniforms, and covering school fees for several indigent students in the city. These contributions aim to alleviate some of the financial burdens on families and help secure a brighter future for the affected children.
Community leaders and local residents have welcomed the initiative, highlighting its potential to make a lasting impact on the lives of many. With sustained support and additional resources, Mbabane’s social centres are poised to expand their reach and improve the overall quality of care and education for the community’s most vulnerable members.
This sponsorship marks a milestone in the ongoing effort to foster stronger, more resilient communities in Mbabane. As both the government and private sector continue to work hand in hand, the promise of a more supportive and nurturing environment for all becomes increasingly attainable.
