18-year-old artist Mthobisi Shabangu has painted a portrait for Siphofaneni Member of Parliament Mduduzi Simelane in appreciation for the work he has done for the poor masses in the Kingdom of Eswatini.

During an interview with News on Africa Eswatini Edition, the Lamgabhi born artist revealed that he decided to paint the portrait to show his appreciation towards the work that has been done by the MP who is also a Lead Singer for Mduduzi Nezinceku Zamagawugawu.  

Shabangu also expressed that he would love to personally hand the portrait to Gawuzela.

Mduduzi Gawuzea Simelane together with a number of Members of Parliament has been at the forefront in tackling critical matters in parliament. Most recently, Simelane was part of the members of parliament who successfully pushed the Minister of Education Lady Howard to suspend the payment of the 2020 school fees.
