Minister of Education and Training Lady Howard Mabuza has officially released Standard 5 results showing an overall passing rate of 94.02%, a 0.58% improvement from the 2019 class.

The Best Student for the 2020 class is Matala Dominion Favour of Ka-Zakhali with an aggregate of 84%.

Announcing the results, the Minister of Education and Training assured the nation that the results are credible and a true reflection of the work that was done by teachers and learners.

“I would like to thank all Heads & teachers for ensuring that learners were taught effectively & prepared well for the examination. We further wish to assure the Nation that these results are a true reflection of the work done by teachers and learners & are credible. All 2020 results have been processed according to laid down, accredited procedures,” said the Minister.
