Eswatini Football Association (EFA) President Bomba Mthethwa has been named the new President of the Eswatini Olympics and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA) following an election that was conducted during the organization’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).

EOCGA which will now be under the direction of Mthethwa is a Non-Governmental Organization affiliated to the International Olympic Committee with the goal of promoting the Olympic Movement and Olympism throughout the Kingdom of Eswatini and leading Eswatini athletes to Olympic Games every quadrennial.   

Mthethwa who served as the EFA President for more than 20 years is expected to resign from his seat in less than 30 days in line with the EFA’s constitution.

The Football is expected to hold its next election in July 2021.
