MANZINI – The Small Claims Court has ordered AM Investments to compensate a former employee E6,047 for wrongful termination. The case, presided over by Magistrate John Hadebe, highlighted AM Investments’ failure to adhere to legal procedures in firing the employee.
The court found that the employee, who had been working under harsh conditions, was terminated without just cause. The ruling included back pay and other compensations for the period of unfair dismissal. The defendant has been given until May 30 to fulfill the court’s order.
