Mamelodi Sundowns were drawn in the same group as Wydad Casablanca, while Bidvest Wits and SuperSport United found out their CAF Confederation Cup play-off opponents.
Sundowns are the only South African side left in the competition after they defeated Rwandan outfit Rayon Sports 2-0 on aggregate in the last round.
Pitso Mosimane’s charges have drawn in Group C along with Wydad Casablanca, Horoya and AS Togo Sport.
Moving to the CAF Confederation Cup, SuperSport United, who saw off Petro de Luanda in the first round, will face Kenya’s Gor Mahia in the play-off round
Bidvest Wits dropped to the Confederation Cup after losing 3-2 on penalties to Primero de Agosto and will now take on Nigerian outfit Enyimba FC in their play-off tie.
