The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) is planning to organize a memorial Lecture in celebration and honor of the late and former People’s Democratic Movement President Mario Masuku.

COSATU who is bossing with more than 2 million memberships revealed this through a brief tweet on Thursday where they also pointed out that they will be doing this “as a true tribute to the great son of the Swazi people and Africa.”

COSATU is the largest South African Trade Union with 21 affiliates.

“COSATU plans to organize a befitting Memorial Lecture in celebrating the life and times of cde Mario Masuku, the late former President of PUDEMO, as a true tribute to the great son of the Swazi people and Africa,’ read the tweet.

The Former PUDEMO President passed away on 11 January 2021 due to COVID-19 complications but was buried with a limited number of people attending his funeral due to COVID-19 regulations prohibiting gatherings of any kind at that time.
