The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) has warned the public to stay away from Maphiveni /Tambankulu Bridge as it has been seriously eroded and on the verge to collapse as a result of the ongoing rains experienced in the country.

The service issue a statement on it Social Media platform where road users were urged to excersice caution while efforts to clear obstacles around the country are still in process.

“Furthermore, road users are urged to exercise caution while efforts to clear the obstacles around the country are in progress. The key is to drive at a very low speed and be on the lookout for any water ponds and other obstacles that may be on the road,” read the Police update.
