Makhosi Mndawe, the Principal Secretary in the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office has informed the public that the disbursement of Social grants will begin on the 11^th March 2021.

This is contained in a Press Release dated 8^th March 2021.

Mndawe announced that the disbursment will commence in the Lubombo Region on the 11th March, followed by the Hhohho region on the 15^th, Shiselweni region on the 17^th and end at the Manzini Region on the 22^nd.

This time around, a total of 7 714 people will receive the disability grant. The number include a total of 2 642 recently added people as per the announcement that was made by the Finance Minister during this year’s budget speech.

“The DPMO is still continuing with enrolling more disability grant recipients through their Tinkhundla constituencies. Beneficiaries will continue to receive their grant electronically,” read the statement.
