Acting Prime Minister, Senate Themba Masuku on behalf of the Eswatini Government has mourned the untimely death of Minister of Public Service and Shiselweni II Member of Parliament Christian Ntshangase who passed away on Saturday after testing positive for coronavirus.
Ntshangase was a second member of the current cabinet to pass away following the shocking death of His Excellency Prime Minister Ambrose Dlamini who also died after testing positive for Coronavirus.
In a statement dated 18 January 2021, Acting Prime Minister Themba Masuku described Ntshangase as a dedicated servant of His Majesty’s Government who led efforts to transform the civil service to reach the ideals of the strategic roadmap and someone who was always available and ready to serve at short notice.
“In his brief two years as a politician, he has displayed sound leadership and a heart for the people. His infectious smile and sense of humor will be missed by all those who knew him,” added Masuku.
The Acting Prime Minister also revealed that the Eswatini government is in constant contact with the Ntshangase family and will communicate funeral details in due course.
