Female Rapper T.EM L real name Mongi Mkhabela successfully hosted season one of Lockdown Cypher which features 18 artists.
The 10 minutes 58 seconds song features 16 local artists and 2 more from Malawi.
Speaking during an interview with News on Africa, T. EM L expressed that she wanted to help expose the upcoming artists and hopes that more artists will come on board as she prepares to host season 2 of the Lockdown Cypher.
Artists featured in season one are Mco K, Ndosh Baba, Danzero, Nnydrag, Mafikzo DGH, Navy Darcargo, Luju Vibez, Acky D, Lady Lee, YF, MC Flow, Raw B Manelz, TTdude, Detail 594, Mabee, Pro Mhlo, Yung BadNewz, and Mr Onion.
The song is produced at Onetime Records and they revealed that they will be running with this until season 10.
