Siphofaneni Member of Parliament had confirmed that the much-anticipated march to the United States Embassy this coming Friday has since been granted a green light by the Ezulwini Municipality.
Simelane took to his Facebook Page on Wednesday where he announced that all is now in order for the march to the US Embassy where Emaswati is expected to deliver a petition pleading for the United States intervention on the current dispute between the Eswatini government and the nation.
“May we assure our people that all is in order and we salute the Great work done by all the forces of change. We complement one another,” posted Simelane.
Last week, Multi-Stakeholder Chairperson Thulani Maseko announce the postponement of the march after the police service disclosed that they will not allow the march to take place without compliance with the Public Order Act.
The issued certificate which was signed by Ezulwini Mayor Vusi Matsebula confirmed that the forces of change complied with the country’s laws in organizing the march.
“I, undersigned, hereby certify that there has been due compliance with the requirement of section 8 of the Public Order 2017 in respect of gathering identified below,” read part of the letter.
