While religious gatherings are allowed under strict COVID-19 regulations, the Eswatini government has announced that this year’s Good Friday services will be held virtually.
The announcement was made by the country’s Minister of Home Affairs Princess Lindiwe on Wednesday who said the services will all start at 10 am from Friday, 2 April to Sunday, 4 April.
“Minister of Home Affairs Princess Lindiwe has announced that this year’s National Good Friday Services will be held virtually with all services starting at 10 am from Friday, 2 April to Sunday, 4 April”, wrote the Eswatini government through it Social Media feeds.
The Minister of Home Affairs also announced that the Good Friday Services will be broadcasted live on the state-owned radio, TV as well as the Government’s Social Media Pages.
