Sphiphofaneni Member of Parliament Mduduzi Simelane has come out gun blazing toward the Commonwealth Secretariat expect reported to have said: “dialogue can take place in a stable, peaceful environment”.
Simelane published a post in his Social Media accounts punching holes in the speech or comments of the Commonwealth Secretariat Head of Public Sector Governmance Dr. Roger Koranteng who was speaking yesterday during the House of Assembly retreat.
Dr. Rogers was reported by the Eswatini Observer to have said that people should not be incited to protest in order to move forward in a calm and peaceful manner.
“There is a need to stop inciting people and if the protesting can stop , things will get back to normal and peaceful negotiations can take place,” said Dr. Rogers as quoted by the publication.

Meanwhile, the outspoekn Member of parliament from Siphofaneni did not mince words as he told the Commonwealth expert that they dont not care of his experience and educational back ground he has if he would lamment about burnt property without lammenting the people who died during the unrests.
“Am told he lamented the burnings of infrastructure that happened during unrest without condemning heavily the mass killings of our innocent and unarmed civilians. Oh what a shame if he really did so! We do not care what experience he commands and what educational coart he wears but anyone who laments burnt structures without lamenting the massacre of our people as Main issue is not worth of our respect,” said Simelane.
He expressed that everyone who dreams of a stable country whilst ignoring the people who died, continued incarceration of Members of Parliament, continued torture and abuse of peaceful people who demand people’s voted government must wake up to the reality that the old normal will never come back.
“If they are serious they should first tell the government and leadership of the country to adhere to the demands of the people. You can not kill, paralyz People, incarcerate others, torture those who stand up for their country and then dream of normality. We are at a point of no-return,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Swaziland Youth Congress (SWAYOCCO) which is a youth league for PUDEMO also did not take kindly the comments by the expert.
The ornanisation issued an online statement clarifying that they are not incited in any ways but empowered, enlightened and inspired by the ideas that can make a better Swazilan.
“We have a responsibility to choose what is perfect for us instead of being told of imperfection by Comonwealth. Members of parliemtn have never incited anyone to use violence but they encouraged people to demand democracy. We have no evidence of people burning structures but we have a cop out on bail on that charge and a state that killed over 70 unarmed Swazi’s,” clarrified the youth wing.
