Uzalo Actor Simphiwe Majozi has dismissed rumors that he is leaving the most watched South African Soapie in Uzalo.

This follows reports that emerged on Social Media that Simphiwe who plays the role of Sbu Makhathini will be exiting the show soon.

To that effect, Majozi told a South African online publication (Daily Sun) that he is not going anywhere and has already signed a one-year contract with the show.

“My phone is flooded with many phone calls from people asking me why I’m leaving Uzalo. The truth is that I’m not leaving as I recently signed on the dotted line with Uzalo,” said Majozi as quoted by Daily Sun.

Majozi said he still enjoys being part of Uzalo and showcasing his acting talent despite lead characters leaving the show.

Some of the Uzalo Casts that have been confirmed to be exiting the show include Baby Cele who portrayed Gabsile Mdletshe, Jet Novuka who portrays Captain Mpambani, and Thandeka Dawn King who portrayed Mangcobo to mention a few.
