Royal Leopard FC are through to the second preliminary round of the Total Energies 2021\22 CAF Champions League after a 2 -2 all draw on aggregate with Zambia’s Zesco United.
Royal Leopard had won the home game last week against Zesco United by 1-0 and was today defeated by 2-1.
The 2-2 draw guaranteed Royal Leopard a spot on the next round of the competition using the away goal rule.
In the second preliminary round, Royal Leopard will face Sagrada from Angola who defeated Platnum FC from Zimbabwe.
Meanwhile, Young Buffaloes’s journey on the Confederation Cup was cut short after being defeated by Zambia’s Red Arrows.
