Bucs coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has repeatedly downplayed his side’s title prospects but Mosimane suspects the Sea Robbers are starting to feel the pressure in the home stretch of the campaign.

“I don’t know, it’s not an easy one to say what happened last year,” said Mosimane when asked about what went wrong in 2016/17.

“I know what happened, we didn’t have the legs, we had a lot of injuries. We had about six players out in the last five games. We drew Baroka, we drew Platinum Stars, we drew Highlands, we drew Maritzburg 2-2. So if you play the last five games and have four draws, you can’t win the title.

“But it’s good, now we exchange the load with Orlando Pirates, and I’m happy that Micho spoke about it finally now when they played Celtic. I’ve been waiting for that statement. He said when playing Celtic the guys were a little bit nervous because they had to win, they knew they could not draw. They could not be normal and play their normal game.”
