Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane not focused on Tendai Ndoro debacle

Sundowns can win the league in their penultimate game of the season on Saturday with a win at Loftus Versfeld over Ajax Cape Town.

Relegation-threatened Ajax are at risk of having points docked after fielding Ndoro earlier in the campaign, as he has represented three clubs in 2017/18 in contravention of FIFA rules.

The Urban Warriors are yet to find out if they will be penalised for deploying the ex-Orlando Pirates striker, who cited unpaid wages at Saudi club Al Faisaly as a reason for joining the coastal outfit in January.

A ruling is expected from SAFA or FIFA after the South Gauteng High Court on Tuesday dismissed Ajax’s appeal to use Ndoro.

Mosimane, for his part, is just focusing on getting the necessary points to beat sole challengers Pirates to Absa Premiership honours.

“No, I’m not worried. It has been pending all the time, am I right? We want to win it on the pitch. If you win on the table… good luck.

“What are we going to do now? It’s in our hands. Thina [Us], we need to win on the weekend, we celebrate. What happens after, it’s other people’s stuff.

“I mean really, what you really want? If you lose the league on the table, can I get upset? I can’t get upset.
