Manzini North Member of parliament Macford Sibandze has called upon the Eswatini government to be proactive, and create a fund for casualties of the social unrest.
Mabuza was speaking at Sicelwini, a place under the Manzini North constituency where he had teamed up with Pastor and former Minister of Commerce Industry and Trade Gideon Mhlongo to donate to a 15 year old boy who got shot during the violent unrests in the country.
The Manzini North MP called on the Eswatini government to create a fund for the victims of the unrests.
He said the government should also have a data base so that they can all be attended to which may include giving them therapy.
It is worth mentioning that the Eswatini government recently launched a close to E1 Billion worth fund which will assist businesses and other structures that were also affected by the unrest.
The former Ministers showered the 15 year old Lukhele by who is also a student at Hillside High School with food parcels worth E2 000 and E1 000 cash.
Making his submissions, Pastor Gideon Dlamini said he was touched by the boy’s ordeal on Facebook and decided to contribute.
“You are lucky to have an MP like Macford who always rise to the occasion on issues that touch the people.” Pastor Gideon said.
He continued that the church has to respond to the plight of the community
Sibandze that the church which he said have always assisted him in the community since 2008
