Minister of Education and Training Lady Howard Mabuza has informed Head Teachers, parents, and Guardians that all students in both primary and High school lever must progress to the next class.  

This is contained in a media statement that was released by the Minister of Tuesday where she also announced the resumption of media lessons.

“The Ministry further wishes to inform all Head Teachers and parents that no learner should be made to repeat a class from the previous year,” read the Minister’s statement.

About the media lessons, Mabuza said the lessons have resumed across EBIS 1, EBIS 2, Eswatini Observer, Times of Eswatini and Eswatini TV. She urged and encouraged students to follow the lessons through the above media channels.

Mabuza appealed to parents and guardians to ensure that learners follow the lessons and support them with learning materials they may need.

The Minister also appealed to Head Teachers and school committees to collaborate with parents to ensure that learners receive textbooks as per their laid down procedures.
