Nomphilo Dlamini who has been trying to raise E2 million for a lung transplant has announced that she is scheduled to leave the country for the transplant on Sunday.
Dlamini (26) is a cystic fibrosis patient who has been living with the condition for a time and has worsened over the years to the point where she now needs to get a new lung.
On Monday, Dlamini took to her Social Media accounts to announce the exciting news.
“Good new I’ve waited for since July. I’m finally leaving to get my lungs in India. 26 September is my departure date, thank you all for being so patient with me and fundraising for my lungs. I am beyond excited,” she posted.
Dlamini also appealed for the public’s assistance as she need to raise close to E800 thousands in a space of few days to the transplant to be possible.
