Her Royal Highness Princess Sikhanyiso who is also the country’s Minister of Information and Technology (ICT) says she wants her son and the next generation to grow up in Eswatini that is more advanced, economically, and holistically.

The Princess mentioned this during a wide-ranging interview with the American news network, ABC News, where she was giving an inside look at the life of a modern Royalty.

When asked about what it is like to be an African Royal, the Princess expressed that she believes that African Royalty is the same worldwide which is a life of responsibilities and service to the people.

Princess Sikhanyiso gave birth to her first child, a son in April last year, and, in the interview, she described motherhood as her best experience yet pointing out that she wants him and the next generation to grow up in a better Eswatini.

“I have a newly earned respect for women, the sacrifices that we make for our children you have to juggle everything at the same time. I also appreciate the role of men in childrearing, we should all play our part. I have a renewed impetus, even in the workplace, to say I want to make Eswatini a better Eswatini for my son and the generations to come — for him to grow up in a different Eswatini that is more advanced, economically and holistically,” the Princess said.
