The Sicalisa Foundation whose Founder is Senate Tony Sibandze has commissioned the construction a house, pit latrine, cooking area for 91-year-old Gogo Thifaniya Gamedze who is one of the many people who were affected by Cyclone Eloise.

The Foundation revealed this in a statement that was released on Social Media where they also revealed that they anticipate completing the project around the week of 15^th April 2021.

According to this statement, people and organizations that were present during the launch of the project includes the areas representative, Hon Member of Parliament Jacob Siwela (Mpolonjeni Constinuency) Indvuna, Bucopho, World Vision, Swaziland Building Society, Lovedeeds Foundation, Dube Mobile to mention just a few.

Meanwhile, the Swaziland Building Society has reportedly donated E50 000 towards the construction of the house.

“Today we donate the sum of E50 000.00 to Scalisa Fooundation. We are grateful to Scalisa Foundation for choosing Swaziland Building Society to partner with them in this project, “remarked Mr Veli Dlamini the Marketing Manager for Swaziland Building Society as he handed over the donation to the Foundation.

World Vision through their branch under Mpolonjeni constituency pledged to provide all building materials for the construction of the pit latrine, facilitate the connection of clean tap water supply and vegetable garden for the elderly Gogo Gamedze.
