Tertiary students under the banner of SNUS will on Wednesday, 2 June 2021, march to the country’s parliament where they will deliver a petition under the #JusticeForThabani campaign, the Swaziland National Union of Student (SNUS) Deputy Secretary-General Simlindzile Masinga announced on Monday.
Masinga announced that the march will begin at Kwaluseni at 9 am and end at the country’s parliament where a petition will be delivered.
Meanwhile, Masinga also announced that the students will also pay a visit to the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology where another petition will be delivered this coming Friday.
“On Friday June 4 2021, we will deliver a petition at Limkokwing Univesrsity of Creative Technology where more than 30 students have been suspended for more than 8 months now. We are calling on the institutions to reinstate them,” said the SNUS SG.
She said students will meet at Sidwashishini at 9 am. The SG also encouraged the country’s youth to partake on the petition delivery exercises at Nkilingo and Manzini North constituencies tomorrow.
