The Republic of China Taiwan today donated food parcels and other items to the constituency of Petros Mavimbela, the Speaker of the House of Assembly.
The other donated items included wheelchairs, and walking sticks.
The donations were handed over by the Taiwan Ambassador to Eswatini His Excellency Liang and Ministers counselor Oliver Han.
Speaking during the hand over, the Taiwan Ambassador assured Emaswati that his Embassy will continue to prioritize Emaswati’s benefits and do their best in assisting the country during the difficult times of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Parliament Speaker Petros Mavimbela on behalf of the Mhlambanyatsi constituency sent his appreciation towards the embassy for it’s timely assistance and friendship also encouraging them to continue donating countrywide.
In the month August and September, the Taiwan Embassy under it’s campaign dubbed #LoveFromTaiwanRice donated to the constituencies of Minister Nhlaluhlaza Ndwandwe, Minister Moses Vilakati, Minister Mabulala Maseko as well as Minister Phila Buthelezi.
