Mbabane Highlanders Chairman Chief Ally Kgomongwe says Mbabane Highlanders’ ambition is to compete and conquer the African continent.

Kgomongwe was speaking during an interview on a Kenyan soccer show Safari where he was being interviewed mostly about the pros and cons of investing in a football club.

When asked how Mbabane Highlanders can conquer the Africa continent when they last won the national league in 2001, Kgomongwe reminded the show presenter that he has not been a Mbabane Highlanders for that long but has seen great improvement during his stay at the club.

“Remember, I was not Director of Mbabane Highlanders. When I came to Mbabane Highlanders, in three months I was lifting the Charity Cup, and also competed in Ingwenyama Cup Finals in 6 months which was broadcasted on national TV,” said the Mbabane Highlanders Director.

He said this showed a great achievement for Mbabane Highlander as the club is now competing to be the number 1 team in the country which may see it competing in the African continent.

He said he wants to make Mbabane Highlanders supporters happy and he believes that Mbabane Highlanders is the right team to represent the country at the African continent.
