The Eswatini Water Service Corporation (EWSC) has revealed that a preliminary study that was conducted by the company revealed that there was extensive damage to the company’s infrastructure which left areas including the Mbabane Central Business District (CBD) waterless.
The company released a statement online where it assured the public in particular the affected areas that they are working around the clock to fix water supply issues.
The affected areas as revealed in the statement are
- Mbabane CBD (Central Bank, Sigwaca House and surrounding areas.
- Mbabane (Mseni drive, Mountain Drive, Dalrich)
- Lobamba Clinic, Mashibhini
- Siteki (Ngcina, Jabula, eNdlovini and Mkhweli).
