After 13 years of dedicated service, Mr. Vusie N. Dlamini, the esteemed Director of Communications and Marketing at the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS), bids farewell to the organization, leaving behind a legacy of transformative leadership and unwavering commitment.
Dlamini’s journey with the ERS began on October 1, 2010, as one of the pioneering professionals hired during the organization’s inception, formerly known as the Swaziland Revenue Authority (SRA). Throughout his tenure, he played a pivotal role in shaping the identity of the ERS and driving its growth through strategic communication initiatives.
One of Dlamini’s significant contributions was his instrumental role in rebranding the organization from the Swaziland Revenue Authority to the Eswatini Revenue Service, marking a transition towards a more service-oriented approach. Under his guidance, the ERS adopted a client-centric focus, emphasizing exceptional service delivery and compliance education to taxpayers.
Reflecting on his time at the ERS, Dlamini expressed gratitude for the opportunities and experiences he had. “It has been an incredible journey to be part of the ERS family for the past 13 and a half years. You do not invest so many years with an organization without emotional attachment, and it’s not easy to walk away,” said Dlamini.
Commissioner General, Brightwell Nkambule, lauded Dlamini for his outstanding contributions, stating, “Vusie has been an invaluable asset to the ERS, and his vision has been instrumental in building our brand identity and fostering a culture of service excellence. We are grateful for his dedication and commitment to our mission.”
As Dlamini embarks on a new chapter in his career as the CEO of Eswatini Tourism Authority, the ERS extends heartfelt best wishes for his continued success and fulfillment. His legacy of innovation, integrity, and service will continue to inspire and guide the ERS in its pursuit of excellence.
