Eswatini Government through the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Trade has announced an extension on the validity of trading and liquor licences to 31st March 2021.
The was announced by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade Principal Secretary Siboniso Nkambule who said the decision is aimed at reducing long queues for licence renewals that pose a risk for the spread of covid-19.
Nkambule added that the country’s licencing department offices will continue to operate under normal hours, with just limited offices.
He also advised that there might be delays in the processing of renewal and new applications due to the limited offices that will be operating.
