As the Tropical Cyclone effects continue, the Eswatini Electricity Company has issued a strong warning to Emaswati residing around Luphohlo Dam.
The company warned Mantabeni , Lusushwana , Mantenga and other surrounding areas residents to be extra cautious of high water flow due to Luphohlo dam overflow.
“EEC would like to send a warning of flooding downstream of Luphodlo Dam, which is now overflowing. Residents of Mantabeni down to Lusushwana extending to Mantenga are kindly advised to be extra cautious of high water flow due to the dam overflow,” read the EEC’s notice.
