One of the Solanis Director Chester Nxumalo has been banned from the Solanis premises while he is being investigated following a video that circulated on Social Media showing a man believed to be Nxumalo beating up women.

Four of the Solanis Directors issued a statement informing the public that Nxumalo was yesterday suspended with immediate effect from any Solani’s related business and has also been banned from the Solanis premises.

“Following ongoing reports based on a circulating video showing the violent assault of a woman on one of our business premises, Solani’s Shisanyama, a decision has taken by directors of the business to suspend, with immediate effect, Management Nxumalo from any of our business,” read the statement.

The Directors also revealed that Nxumalo will not be allowed in any of Solani’s premises and they further encouraged people with information of the incident to contact the law enforcement officers.

They also revealed that they are willing to assist the police and other stakeholders on the investigation regarding the matter.

Meanwhile, women’s organizations in the country yesterday called for the arrest of Nxumalo and Emaswati to boycott the hangout spot.
