The 105 Game 5 residents who were victims of Cyclone Eloise have since been sheltered at Mahlabaneni Primary School, the National Disaster Management Agency revealed through a statement on Friday.

According to the statement published on the Agency’s Facebook Page, the survivors who comprise 34 families and 37 children were provided with shelter, blankets, beans, mealie-meal, morvite, sugar, cooking oil, water, candles, matches, soap, sanitizers, masks, wash basins, pots, cutlery and clothes.

The residents were displaced by Tropical Cyclone that hit the country over the past weekend.

“Their food, clothes, furniture, vehicles, and other household items were swept away. Though in total distress about the loss of their belongings, they were glad their lives were saved,” read the statement by the NDMA.
