Government has literally and publicly asked TUCOSWA not to report any government’s perfomances during the International Labour Organisation (ILO) conference that is scheduled this coming weekend in Geneva.
Speaking during the national radio program “Letishisako”, Minister of Labour and Social Security Winnie Magagula voiced out that any government’s complaints about government’s performance should be addressed locally than reporting them in Geneva.
According to the Times of Swaziland, the Minister of Labour and Social Security and her delegates are expected to leave for the International Labour Organisation this coming weekend.
Speaking with the Times of Swaziland, TUCOSWA secretary General Mduduzi Gina clarified that the conference should not be viewed as a battlefield but if there were issued not dealt with by the member of states, those issues were bound to be reported during the conference.
On further analysis, Gina stated that the Federation tabled a number of concerns that required government’s attention through a petition that was delivered on the 13th of April.
