Mbabane, Eswatini – The management of Mbabane Swallows FC extends heartfelt apologies to various stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, Arch-Bishop Bheki Lukhele, sponsors, strategic partners, HRH Princess Lungile Dlamini-Gamedze, the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE), the Eswatini Football Association (EFA), the club’s supporters, and the entire football fraternity. The apology comes in response to negative headlines published in local print media that suggested a player boycott and other incidents.

The management clarifies that there is no truth to the claims that they prevented Mrs. Gamedze from addressing the players. They emphasize that HRH Princess Lungile Dlamini-Gamedze is still held in the highest regard by the club.

The club underscores that players were actively involved in training sessions on Wednesday, and the absence on Thursday was due to scheduled meetings with the club’s Governor, Legal representative, and the Team Manager. These discussions centered around salary matters, and the club expresses gratitude to all players and members of the technical team for their patience and understanding during the resolution process of the delayed salary concerns.

Mbabane Swallows FC remains committed to transparency and constructive dialogue, reassuring stakeholders that the matter is being addressed diligently for an amicable resolution.
