The Honorable Minister of Economic Planning and Development, E.T. Gina (Dr), along with the Microprojects Programme department, convened a community meeting in Lubuli Inkhundla, located in the Shiselweni region. The focus of the gathering was to discuss the Ntuthwakazi rural portable water supply scheme project.

During the meeting, community members and project stakeholders deliberated on the implementation of the Ntuthwakazi rural portable water supply scheme. The project aims to provide access to clean and reliable water for a minimum of 240 homesteads and Ntuthwakazi Primary School.

The initiative is expected to address water scarcity challenges in the area and improve the quality of life for residents. Furthermore, access to clean water will have a positive impact on health, sanitation, and overall community development.

The Ntuthwakazi rural portable water supply scheme is slated for completion by November 2024, marking a significant milestone in the community’s quest for sustainable water solutions.

Through collaborative efforts between government entities and local stakeholders, the project seeks to uplift and empower communities by providing essential infrastructure that meets their basic needs

The community meeting underscored the commitment of the government to prioritize the welfare and development of rural communities, ensuring equitable access to essential services such as clean water.
