“Nami sengiyawuba ngumuntfu emkhatsini webantfu…” These poignant words encapsulate the profound impact of the recently launched ESA Housing project, a collaborative initiative between ESA and the Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society. Aimed at uplifting disadvantaged community members, the project has already begun to change lives for the better.
In partnership with the Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society, ESA has embarked on a mission to provide assistance to families in need by constructing 1 and 2 room houses. So far, the project has delivered housing solutions to 7 families across the country, offering them a newfound sense of security and stability.
The heartfelt expressions of gratitude from beneficiaries echo throughout the communities where ESA’s housing project has made a difference. Among the fortunate recipients are Make Dlamini of Nsongweni in Shiselwini, Make Thoko Mnisi of Mahebedla in Mbuluzi, and Mkhulu Vilakati laMvambi of Siphocosini. For these families, receiving a home of their own signifies not only shelter but also hope for a brighter future.
“We know that this is just a drop in the ocean compared to the need not just in these communities, but in the whole country. It is our hope that a difference is made, one project at a time,” commented ESA CEO Banele Nyamane. Despite the enormity of the housing challenge facing Eswatini, ESA remains committed to addressing the pressing needs of vulnerable communities and making a tangible impact on their lives.
The ESA Housing project stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and compassion in effecting positive change. By joining forces with the Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society, ESA has demonstrated its unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those most in need. As the project continues to unfold, it serves as a beacon of hope for disadvantaged communities, offering them a path toward a brighter and more secure future.
In the words of ESA CEO Banele Nyamane, “Together, we can make a difference, one family at a time.” Through initiatives like the ESA Housing project, Eswatini is taking meaningful strides towards addressing housing challenges and building a more inclusive and equitable society for all.
