METHULA: Youth under Methula inkhundla in the Shiselweni region is currently mobilizing resources to build a home for elderly citizens while the country’s Deputy Prime Minister is donating soccer kits allegedly to his family members and neighbors.

This publication is in possession of a letter sent to churches by the youth from that constituency mobilized under Methula Youth In Action Organisation.

“Bazalwane sicela nimane nisibambise enhluphekweni lesinayo sibanftu labasha benkhundla yaku Methula. Sihlushwa kubona impilo yababe Handbag Sikhondze waku Lawuba lolala kulundlu lengentansi,” read the letter.

Reached for comment, Ncamiso Msibi, a member of the Methula Youth In Action confirmed the letter and said they were bothered by the conditions in which babe Handbag lived under especially the dilapidated structure.

Msibi described Mr Handbag as a men in his 50s who is also not well health wise.

He appealed to individuals, churches and companies who would like to contribute in building Mr Handbag’s house to do so. He said, it is up to those to decide whether they contribute with a building material or money.

The condition of the structure that Mr Handbag uses to hide his head.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Themba Masuku who hails from that constituency and whose brother is the Member of Parliament was seen posing for pictures with boys clad in new soccer kits written Lawuba FC.

Worth noting is that the office of the Deputy Prime Minister is responsible for the older citizens and those living with disabilities.

Another community member who preferred to speaking annonimously revealed that they are not aware of the team nor their sport ground that they use in that community.

The member said they suspected that the Deputy Prime Minister only invited his neighbours and family members to be part of the team.
