The Kindom of Eswatini is being attacked by hunger in such a way that pupils are starting to collapse at schools.

According to the Times of Swaziland, 8 pupils from Kholwane Primary school collapse because of hunger in a space of a week. Speaking to the Times of Swaziland, Kholwane Priamry School Head Teacher expressed that the people collapsed as a result of food shortage in the school. The situation is bad in a way that it is starting to interfer with the chieldren’s right to education as the Head Teacher expressed that they are expiriencing challenges in continuing with classes.

The head teacher further expressed that the school kitchen had been locked since the beginning of the secong term and they are not preparing any meals for the students. She further appealed to business community and companies to come to the school rescue.

When sought for comment by the Times of Swaziland, Principal Secritary of the ministry of Education expressed that they are yet to investigate the situation on the grounds of what was going on regarding the food distribution.
