The march that was suppose to be organised by TUCOSWA this month has been postponed to next week.
According to TUCOSWA Deputy Secretary General Muzi Mhlanga, the march was scheduled this week but those plans were put on hold due to the fact that some members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) were currently in Geneva.
If everything goes accordingly upon the return of the NEC and the Union decides to proceed with those plans, the next strike will take place take place during the week of 8-9 June stated Mhlanga.
He further clarified that of all the ministries that were petitioned last month, only the Ministry of Natural Resource and Energy responded. The ministry responded that they are not responsible for energy regulation as it falls under the jurisdiction of the Swaziland Energy Regulatory Authority (SERA).
